What is boudoir photography?

Boudoir photography brings out your sensual side, a side you may not even be familiar with!  It is a chance to let your inhibitions down and trust that our staff will show you just how beautiful you are.
 
No, that does not mean you have to wear super sexy lingerie, push up bras, thigh highs… things that maybe are not YOU… you can wear a t-shirt and undies!  No one can define your sexy, but you!
 
A boudoir shoot is a great way to celebrate yourself.  It is more than just creating amazing photos... it is a FEELING. A boudoir shoot is a great way to boost your confidence, find your sense of self... maybe you are getting married and want to feel beautiful before your big day.  Maybe, you are celebrating a milestone birthday or anniversary.  Or, maybe you have gone through a major life change such as a divorce, loss/grief, weight loss... doing a boudoir shoot is a way to say, my circumstances do not define me, I am beautiful, I am worth it, this is who I am and while I may not be perfect, I am still flawless.

Why should I choose AMP?

We have been in business since 2014.  What started out as a photography studio has changed into a mission to change women’s lives.  We have empowered more than 300+ women every year and with each women who comes through our doors, that is one more changed life.  Our staff will soothe your fears and in minutes you will feel like you are hanging out with old friends.  First you will take a seat in our makeup and hair chair, and then progress into the photo session.  By the time you are with us through hair and makeup, you will forget you were even nervous!  This is all about your comfort level, so we will work with you to encourage you to be your best self throughout the entire experience!

How much does this cost?

We require a deposit of $250 to book your session which will be applied to our creative fee - the creative fee covers hair and makeup, the time with the photographer, and the time with our sales staff to come back to choose your images at your photo viewing.  Images are not included in this fee, it simply covers the time dedicated to creating this experience for you!
 
We believe in being in the budget for every woman.  In order to do so, we offer in house, interest free, no credit check, payment plans.  These payment plans can be applied to the purchase of your images and can break your payments up to a comfortable monthly installments.

When should I arrive for my appointment?

Arrive at your scheduled time - hair and makeup will be done first and then you will move to your session after.

Question 5

How long will my appointment take?

We always say allow for three hours total.  Hair and makeup will take about an hour to an hour and a half depending on your hair length and then your photo session will be about an hour.  We like to give a cushion for anything unforseen.

What should I wear?

Question 7

How long does it take to get my pictures back?

Accepted Answer

Your photo viewing session will be booked for 7+ days after your session.  At that time you will come back in to see your images and decide the package that works best for you.

When should I book?

We recommend booking as soon as possible however we can safely accommodate 4-6 weeks before you need your images.  We can however make exceptions if you need your images quicker!

We can book on location (a house or hotel) for an additional fee.

Are my photos private?

Absolutely! Unless you sign a release form your photos are completely private!

What should I do with my photos?

Accepted Answer

Put them in an album, save them to your phone, share them with your friends and S.O... keep them private just for you!!! We have tons of options and can show you all the products when you come in to view your images!
