How did you feel before you came in for your shoot?
I was SO nervous as I've never ever done anything like this before. I was a little embarrassed. For lack of better words, I felt awkward. I really didn't know what to expect and have never posed for anything like this before.
What made you choose Alli Murphy Photography?
I met Alli at a bridal expo. Her booth was very impressive. When I went home and checked out her website. I was really interested in finding more about this process!
Tell us your favorite part of your experience...
I have to say my favorite part of my experience was the time the glam team and Alli took just on me! I didn't feel rushed and I also felt COMFORTABLE in my own skin. Alli gave amazing direction and without even thinking of my facial expressions or looking "sexy," my mind was truly at ease because we were just having fun! I didn't have to take myself so serious and Alli let me have a say in my poses. I felt completely in control!
How did you feel after your session, before you saw your photos?
After my session, I felt great because not only did I have my hair and makeup done, but I definitely had my inner "Tyra Banks" in me! However, the of seeing my photos was definitely nerve wracking.
How did you feel after you got to see your photos for the first time?I At the photo reveal, I was so pleased with my photos! I was anxious because they were all me! No photoshopping. I am not stick thin, never will be. I am okay with my body but to say Alli captured all the right angles is an understatement! She showed some black and white versions and other filters, but much to my surprise, I picked almost every one of my original photos! I even bought the highest package. Again, Alli sat with me until i could figure out which canvas I wanted and book.
Was this a gift for someone? What was their reaction?
(Silence)... "Holy s*** I don't think I can get through this book! You're so hot!"
Any additional thoughts or comments?
If you're thinking about doing a boudoir shoot- just do it! You will not be sorry! Big, small, round, square every body is beautiful and Alli perfectly captures and celebrates that. Go get 'em!
